Common rail
A high-pressure pump supplies a shared rail that acts as a pressure accumulator. Electronically controlled injectors meter fuel into each cylinder, making part-number and engine-code accuracy especially important.
Common rail, unit injection and mechanical systems use different parts. Knowing which one your engine has is the first step to the right injector or pump.

An EUI combines its high-pressure pumping element and injector at each cylinder. Camshaft actuation creates pressure while electronic control determines injection timing and duration.
EUP systems use an individual high-pressure pump for each cylinder, connected to the injector by a short high-pressure line and controlled electronically.
Mechanical injector and pump systems remain a major catalogue family and require their own nozzle, calibration and pump-reference data rather than being grouped under common rail.
The number on your old injector or pump is the surest match. If you don't have it, the engine code and vehicle details get us there.
